Yesterday, I faced a creative fiasco. My painting was a disaster, and I felt like I lost all painting skills. But today, I found inspiration in that frustration. I created something a little different.
I originally just meant to paint the artist’s “block”. There it is, the block, dragging it along.
But this painting can represent much more. It can represent the weight of self-doubt and fear that can hold us back from expressing ourselves truly.
As I reflect on my own creative journey, I realize that we all carry around our own ‘blocks’ – whether it’s fear of failure, perfectionism, or comparison.
What if we could set those blocks free?

This painting is a reminder that our creativity is not defined by our doubts or fears. We have the power to break free from those limitations and tap into our unique voice.
I’d love to hear from you: What does this painting evoke for you?

To me it looks like being weighed down
Good
And don’t we always have that feeling at some point in our lives. Maybe I should paint another one that I push the block off a cliff. Haha
