« Staring at nothing and everything »

All the times we stared at those trees,
Catching a little breeze,
waiting for the rain to pass
Or smelling the fresh cut grass.

All those hours, so heartfelt
Catching the warm rays
on those cold winter days
Hoping for the snow to melt

Remember the partridges and crows we were watching
Or our chickens that the neighbor’s dog was chasing?

All those moments
Staring at nothing,
but everything
All those hours
Now just a memory
For that house has another family

Staring at nothing but everything

I’m trying to embrace acrylic. Trying! And I took out my brushes (usually use palette knife).
