This past January, I committed to a daily painting challenge for the entire month. Inspired by Denise Hopkins, a talented artist from New Orleans, I joined her 31in31 challenge, along with many other artists of all mediums and styles.
With 29 pieces completed, I had to skip the last two days to finish a private commission. However, I couldn’t resist creating one final piece to wrap up the month – “Namaste.”
Initially, I didn’t have a specific theme in mind for the month. My first few pieces reflected on my goals for 2025 and life, surfacing words like “soaring,” “innocence,” and “inner peace.” As the days went by, diverse inspirations emerged, and I explored life’s metaphors, the essence of innocence, and the beauty of everyday life through my art.
This challenge allowed me to experiment with vibrant colors, diverse styles, and looser brushstrokes (trying to steer away from details). It was an experience that helped me grow as an artist and tap into my creativity on a daily basis. Not to mention a test of my time management skills ( Ill be happy to take a break from daily social media posts!).

My final piece, “Namaste,” encapsulates my journey. It’s me being grateful- grateful for the opportunity to be able to create and share my art. Grateful for the lessons. Grateful for the support. Namaste represents respect, gratitude, and connection to you, to ourselves and to life.
Thank you for joining me on this creative adventure and for being part of my journey in this crazy world.

31 works in 31 days, pfff that’s quite some production. admirable
Thanks! You should join me next January
That would be nice, buy very difficult i think
Some people have a goal of just creating everyday. Not necessarily paint a full painting
