Excitée!!….. je suis en mode productivité
ROUTE ROUGE J’ai quelques personnes qui m’ont déjà demandé: “c’est quoi la route rouge?” Alors voici un bref message qui explique pourquoi ce nom pour mon vernissage.
Dans la culture amérindienne, on réfère la “route rouge” comme étant le bon chemin de vie, ou la voie spirituelle. La Bible amérindienne, c’est la nature. Dieu est appelé « le Grand Esprit », la terre est considérée comme une entité vivante que l’homme a pour mission de protéger et de remercier pour tous les bienfaits qu’elle lui apporte.
Donc ceux qui marchent la “route rouge”, font confiance à la Terre Mère, au Divin, au Grand Esprit, ou à Dieu (peu importe votre croyance). Ces personnes vivent le moment présent, avec gratitude, respect, simplicité, sans attentes et sans laisser les peurs contrôler leurs emotions. Ceux qui sont sur cette voix ne sont pas non plus parfait, mais sont en recherchent d’eux-même et de leur raison de vivre. Les personnes qui sont influencées par la société, sans prendre vraiment conscience de vivre pleinement cette vie, marchent la route noir.
Donc, j’ai choisi ce thème pour 1. montrer respect et honorer la culture amériendienne et 2. offrir une série de tableaux et de poèmes qui reflètent ma route rouge que je marche depuis déjà plusieurs années.

RED ROAD I already have a few people asking me: “what is the red road?”. So here’s a brief explanation to why I choose this name for my next expo.
In the native culture, when you are “walking the red road” , you are on the right path of life, living within the Creator’s instructions. The native bible is the pure nature itself. God, is called the “Creator” or the Great Spirit, mother earth is considered to be very sacred life force that man has to protect and be thankful for all the goods that she brings to us.
Basically, someone that walks the “red road” has faith in Mother Earth, the Creator, the Great Spirit, the animal spirits. These people is living a life of truth, in the present moment, with humbleness, respect, friendship, and spiritually. They are trying to live without letting fears control their emotions. Those on this road are by no means walking a perfect path, but are in search of self-discovery and instructions. Those living each day caught up in today’s society, without fully being awakened to what this amazing life can offer, are walking the dark road.
I chose ” the red road” for this next collection because I wanted to 1. respect and honor all my relations and the native culture and 2.offer a series of paintings that will reflect MY red road that I have been walking on these past few years.
